a. GIS School Secretary
Recommend Board approval of Karen Hopper as Secretary-10 Month B at GIS for the 2017-2018 school year effective September 1, 2017. Salary will remain the same. Ms. Hopper will be replacing Virginia Velykis due to retirement. Ms. Hopper will be paid an hourly salary rate up to five (5) days during the month of August for training. Training will be provided for new registrations, placements, enrollments, transfers, assisting with scheduling, developing homerooms, files prepared for review, district transfers, release of transfer documentation, and assistance with scheduling inputs, and coordination of Positive Action.
